Airport Transfer in Riyadh, in detail
Which terminal at King Khalid International
The answer changed in February 2026, and much of what is online still describes the old arrangement. Terminals 1 and 2 take international flights on Saudia, Riyadh Air, flynas and flyadeal; Terminals 3 and 4 their domestic flights; Terminal 5 international flights on foreign airlines.
Send us the flight number rather than the terminal. We read the terminal off the flight, and if it changes between booking and landing, we follow it.
The terminalsFrom RUH into the city
The airport sits about 35 kilometres north of the centre. Reckon on about 35 minutes to Olaya or the King Abdullah Financial District, 45 to the Diplomatic Quarter, and 50 out to Diriyah.
The metro's Line 4 reaches the financial district in half an hour and suits a cabin bag and a hotel near a station. With checked luggage, a family or a late landing, it is a worse hour than the map suggests.
For a departure we work backwards from your check-in time, with the road built in. One address, one pickup time, one car at the door.
35 km, about 35 minutesWhat the transfer includes
We track the aircraft from departure, so an early arrival brings the pickup forward and a delay moves it back. Sixty minutes of waiting after landing is part of every airport quote.
Your chauffeur meets you inside the terminal holding your name, and the luggage is handled at the belt. The price quoted at booking is the price at the end, with no meter and no surge.
Send the flight number and the address on WhatsApp or the quote form, and the confirmation comes back in writing with the chauffeur's name and number. Staying on for meetings? The same car can stay as a chauffeur for the day.

Before you ask Riyadh
Asked, answered.
Since February 2026: Terminals 1 and 2 for international flights on Saudia, Riyadh Air, flynas and flyadeal; Terminals 3 and 4 for those carriers' domestic flights; Terminal 5 for international flights on foreign airlines. Older guides describe the previous arrangement, so trust your boarding pass. Send us the flight number and we will work it out.
Inside the terminal after customs, holding your name. If the terminal changes or the flight diverts, the pickup follows it.
Nothing you need to manage. We track the aircraft from departure, so the pickup moves with it, and sixty minutes of waiting after landing is included in every airport quote.
Yes. Line 4, the yellow line, runs from the terminals to the King Abdullah Financial District in about thirty minutes, every five to seven minutes. It is a good option with hand luggage and a hotel near a station, and a poor one with a full luggage set or an address away from the line.
We work back from your check-in time rather than the flight time, and build the road in. Tell us the flight and where you are leaving from, and we will name the pickup time.
