Chauffeured city-to-city travel in Saudi Arabia
A city-to-city transfer with a chauffeur replaces the airport entirely. No check-in, no security line, no baggage belt at the far end. The car collects you at your own door, and the next door it opens is the one you are travelling to.
That is as true of the forty-minute run to Qiddiya as it is of the full day from Riyadh to Jeddah by car. Work through the drive or sleep through it; rest stops happen when you want them, not when a timetable allows.
The whole route is one fixed price, quoted before the car moves. No meters, no per-kilometre surprises, no fuel supplements. On board: chilled water, Wi-Fi and chargers for both phone types, with luggage for the whole trip and no weight rules.
Riyadh to JeddahRiyadh to Dammam, Al Khobar and the Eastern Province
Riyadh to Dammam is about 410 kilometres and just over four hours, the intercity run that gets done before a morning's work is missed. Al Khobar and Dhahran sit within half an hour of Dammam, so Aramco, Ithra and the estate around them are one journey.
It is a route people take both ways in a day. Leave Riyadh before dawn, sit in a Khobar meeting by mid-morning, and the car is still yours for the return whenever the day finishes. Companies running it weekly put it on a corporate account.
Hofuf to Riyadh comes in at roughly 300 to 330 kilometres and about three and a half hours; Al Kharj is an hour and a quarter. Both are quoted as one fixed price, the same way as the long ones.
Riyadh to DammamRiyadh to Jeddah, Qassim, AlUla and the Red Sea
Riyadh to Jeddah by car is roughly 950 kilometres and a full day on the road. People take it when the luggage, the party or the schedule makes flying the slower option once both airports are counted in.
Riyadh to Buraidah in Qassim is about 365 kilometres and three and a half hours, and the run works both ways. Riyadh to AlUla is around 1,060 kilometres and ten to twelve hours, usually broken rather than driven straight.
On the western side, Jeddah to Makkah is just over an hour, Jeddah to Madinah a little over four, and Makkah to Madinah about four and a half. Up the coast, Jeddah to KAEC is an hour and twenty-five minutes. Any Saudi route not listed is quoted on request.
Riyadh to AlUlaWhat the drive is actually like
An intercity chauffeur leaves when you do, day or night. There is no departure board, so a 4 a.m. start or an overnight run to be somewhere by breakfast is an ordinary booking, and the price does not change with the hour.
