Delegation and protocol movement
A defence exhibition is a protocol event before it is a trade event. Government and military delegations arrive with their own order of movement, and the transport has to serve it rather than impose one.
Multi-car movements are dispatched as one movement: the cars arrive together, leave together, and the dispatch room follows all of them live. Chauffeurs on this work are used to the entrance that is correct rather than the one that is nearest.
Embassies and diplomatic guests are regular CHAUFFIQ work outside the exhibition calendar too, which is the reason the chauffeurs already know how it runs. That is corporate chauffeur service the rest of the year.
Exhibitor teams, stands and the daily shuttle
Exhibitors have the opposite problem to delegations: the same people, the same two points, several times a day, for a week. That is a shuttle, not a series of bookings.
A Sprinter or a Coaster holding an interval between the hotel and the site costs less and works better than eight separate cars, and it keeps the team together for the ten minutes of briefing that happens on the way in.
Build days and breakdown days matter as much as show days, and they run at hours the show schedule does not mention. The operations room is staffed around the clock.
Arrivals at King Khalid International
Delegations arrive across a narrow window and often on several flights. Each one is met inside arrivals with the guest's name on an iPad, with sixty minutes of waiting included, through airport transfers.
King Khalid International reassigned its terminals in February 2026: Terminals 1 and 2 take the international flights of the national carriers, 3 and 4 their domestic flights, and Terminal 5 the international flights of foreign carriers. Send the flight number and we read the terminal off it.
Several arrivals across one afternoon are run as one event transportation movement under a single coordinator rather than as separate bookings.
