Weddings and family occasions

A wedding is not one car, it is a timetable. The couple, the two families, the guests coming from hotels, all landing at one entrance inside the same half hour. Getting the right car to the door at the right moment is scheduling before it is driving.

We run the movement as one booking with one coordinator, so the family is talking to one person on the day rather than to six chauffeurs. Cars are staged out of sight and brought forward in order.

The first car is usually the Rolls-Royce or the S-Class, and it is worth naming it early. There is one of each, and on a Thursday in season they go first.

Riyadh Season, Boulevard City and the event nights

From autumn into spring the city runs a calendar. Boulevard City most nights, Soundstorm over a weekend, Diriyah with its own programme. Every one of them puts a very large number of people through a small number of approach roads inside the same hour.

Arriving is manageable. Leaving is the part that goes wrong, and it goes wrong for everyone at once. The fix is unglamorous: a pickup point agreed before you set off, the return leg booked with the outbound, and a chauffeur who is reachable and already close.

For a party split across several cars we keep them on one schedule and one contact, so nobody is standing outside a venue at one in the morning working out who has which car.

Arrivals that are being watched

Some arrivals have an audience. A gala at a hotel, a principal arriving at a summit, a guest of honour at a family occasion. The requirements are the same each time and all small: the right car, at the right door, at the right minute, door held.

Where discretion matters more than presence, it goes the other way. An unmarked car, a side entrance, and nobody standing about.

Multi-car movements run with a lead vehicle and one schedule. Convoys for delegations and transfers between a hotel and a venue are the same service scaled up, and we would rather be told the whole shape of the evening than one leg of it.

Before you ask Riyadh

Asked, answered.

The Rolls-Royce for the couple where the budget allows, an S-Class where it does not, and sedans or SUVs behind it for the families. There is one Rolls-Royce and one first-class sedan of each type, so in season they are worth naming weeks out rather than days.

Yes, on one booking, one schedule and one point of contact. That is the difference between a fleet and six separate reservations that happen to be on the same night.

It gets booked at the same time as the outbound, with a pickup point agreed before you set off. Arriving at Boulevard City or Soundstorm is straightforward. Leaving, with everyone else leaving, is not, and a chauffeur already nearby is the whole answer.

Say what you have in mind when you book and we will tell you what is possible. Anything fixed to the car is agreed in advance rather than arranged at the door.

Yes, and it is asked for more often than the opposite. A plain car, a side entrance and a chauffeur who does not stand about is a service we run as readily as the other kind.
